We are pleased to have Dr. Bradley and Dr. Pruitt as speakers, and their publications will be available for purchase. Mike Edge of neighboring Greene Co. will have Greene Co. Resources available for purchase. The George B Singletary chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy will have a display and information for anyone interested in their group activities and the Civil War era in connection with your genealogy research. This local chapter is headed by Nancy Pittman, President and Registrar, and they have just received four honor awards at the NC UDC convention. Registration fees are: $28 for the two days, $20 for one day(either Friday or Saturday) I do have a hand drawn map showing the meeting site that I can email you.
