    1. City Directories in the 1900's?
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Brock, Ashcraft, Shaw, Outlaw Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/QUB.2ACE/1077 Message Board Post: Wondering if Kinston had a city directory in the late 1880's, early 1900's. Just received info that my ancestor, Stephen R. Brock, a Baptist minister, returned to Kinston after living in Camden, SC for a few years. (He was in the 1880 Lenoir Co. census). In the 1900 census, he and his wife and son (my grandfather) were listed in Union Co., NC. S.R. Brock served churches in Lancaster, SC in 1897, and between 1902 and 1906, he served the churches of New Salem and Pleasant Hill in Monroe, Union Co., NC. Anyone out there with info on Baptist churches he might have served in Kinston or Lenoir Co.? Thanks for any help or tips on how I could get this info.
