Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/QUB.2ACE/1078 Message Board Post: If Nathan was in the Kennedy company, then I suspect that he was born a good while before 1767, which would likely make the brother of my William (b. 1746), who was in the same company, and both of them sons of the earlier William, who appears to have married Rebecca (see 1750 deed on ""Deeds", Lenoir Ardchives Site). Also, Rebecca is recorded in Book 6 (1760's) of the Grantor Index as deediing something to her children, which means she had more than one. I have a Kennedy line, and I think that there is some very early connection between that family and the Arendells, though I have never proved it. FRH
