Is anyone aware of a list of the Mayors of Kinston over time? I have just obtained a copy of my 2-great grandfather Speight Brock West's obituary, which indicates that he served as Mayor of Kinston at some point. I would guess that point was somewhere between the Civil War (1865) and 1880, when he sold his store and probably moved to Asheville. Thanks, Bob West
