Shadrack Loftin and Christian Isler were the parents of Williiam Isler Loftin who married Mary West. This came from Roots Web family tree search and seems to be accurate (information from a manuscript "Genealogy of Loftin and Allied Families" from the Joyner Library at East Carolina University.) I also have the information from "The Heritage of Craven County" which is basically the same for Shadrack's father, Cornelius, and grandfather, Leonard. The information in the HofCC is confusing, and doesn't mention Shadrack and his family. His daughter Sarah married Henry Always. Their daughter Content married a Thomas Evans, who I hope is my lost ggggrandfather. Hope this helps a little. Jane
