I attended the USCT Symposuim this week end. It was excellent. Learned a lot. The symposium was well attended. The roll Blacks played in both the Union and Confederate Armies was discussed. The speakers were outanding. I would like to commend the Cultrual Heritage Society for sponsoring this event in Kinston. It was exciting, fun and informative. Jane Phillips
