I do not have any information on William Isler Loftin. However, I am interested in what you might find from others. I have a 6GAunt, Christian Isler daughter of William Isler (ca1720-1784) and Hester Williams (ca1730-?), who married Shadrack Loftin. I have no information, other than their names, on Shadrack and Christian. Could they be your William's parents?
