Hines. Someone on one ot the list is looking for info on a Wm Hines that m Sarah Vann, someone sent that she d 4/4/1828. I have from the 1850 Sampson Co., Census a Joel Hines age 46 Wife Jane (Faison) 44, also from the Sampson Co., Hertiage book it has son of Stephen (d.1838) & Lavina Martin Hines. Does anyone know how the Solomon Hines & Joel Hines of Lenoir Co.,NC that married Patience Gulley lines might connect, the nameing patterns are so close , My Joel Hines bought land from James Grimes who was the father of Stephen Grimes in Duplin Co., NC.
