This cemetery is just inside the Craven Co border and according to Judi is NOT in either Craven Co Cemetery Book. Mary Parrott was the only one of Jacob and Persis Parrott's children that Francis had nothing on. He just said she must not have had children because she only died a few months after her father and in his will he stated "if she had no heirs". It is also possible she died in childbirth or that James remarried since it appears there are younger Murphy's buried in the cemetery. It is also possible there are more graves in this cemetery. Not a good time of year for cemetery digging. Clair, do you or any of the Murphey researchers know if this is part of the Greene Co family?
