Martha: I have been thinking a lot about the info you sent me. I think that because Jesse Hardy's father William Hardy was born around 1729 and his wife Sarah Sowell was born around 1733, they were married 11/26/1751, it makes sense that Jesse was born around 1769 and not 1779. I can't find were I found the info on Jesse's birthyear but I feel certain that it is correct. I know there is still more work to be done but I don't see any proof of 1779 or 1769 so it may just be possible that 1769 is closest to right than 1779. What do you think? Peggy
