    3. Peggy, I am the wrong person to ask. Am pretty good at finding people 100 - 150 years ago but actually have no clue as to finding people this century. Mostly because have not had to do it. As you know, adoption records are a tough nut to crack. Have you tried the Social Security website? If she died in NYC, have you tried to get a death certificate? Can some of the other list members give suggestions.
