Rose, I know there were Cary's in Craven, Jones, & Onslow Counties. I have some information on ones in Onlsow and Jones - 1700's - 1800s. They may tie in somehow. Unfortunately, I've not done much on the Careys. Just sent out a query on the NC-List.
