Carey Family of Kinston NC. A.J. died in October of 1966. I have run into a "deadend" on this branch of my family tree, so any information you can help me find would be most appreciative. He was married to Mary Dorkis (sp?) and they had three children (sons), lived at 1307 Perry Park Drive, Kinston NC. A.J. owned a oil business, that his wife took over upon his death and has not remarried. They are members of the St. Mary's Episocal church in Kinston. I believe their sons name were A.J. Jr.(possibly), Benjamin Arthur (born 1947), and Clifton W. (possibly) (born April 22, 1950) (in that order).. I have researched enough to know that the first two went to UNC and that Benjamin Arthur (2nd son) became a psychiatrist, graduating from Duke Medical school, doing his residency at Norfolk Naval Hospital, was a commander in the Navy as of 1991 and chairman of the psychiatry department at Portsmouth Medical Hospital. He was also a navy seal in the time period of 1969-1974. He married Shelly (who also attended UNC) and they have two children -- Annie and Allen both of whom were born after 1980. I have no information about the other two sons. Because I do not live in NC, it has been difficult for me to get additional information so any assistance you can provide would be very helpful.
