Received a heads up early this morning from Ed Morris at the NC archives that his office pc had been infected and not to open any attachment. He had a LONG list of people he sent that to including CSS Neuse. Sure enough one just came through from him - exe file but I didn't get to see all of the subject before the antivirus managed to pick it up and deleted it. It started with Welcome to - don't know the rest. I don't know if this is one that is changing names or not but it is not the badtrans virus it is another one. GIven the email addresses on Ed's message this may be coming from an office associated with history, research, parks etc. Makes no difference - just be careful. Susan did something the other day that I am fixing to do right now. Eliminate almost all of my bookmarks and keep them in a word file. Will help eliminate passing all these problems around.
