I am new to the list and am researching the Skinners that lived in Lenoir County prior to 1800, mainly Jesse Skinner, brn abt 1745, a bro to Benjamin (old Benjamin of Darlington County S.C.) William the 3rd, and they had a sister Sarah. Their father was William Jr. and his father William Sr. I can find Jesse in Lenoir County records up until abt 1787-88 but after that the three brothers are gone. Benjamin to Darlington, S.C., and William to Ga. Jesse is also mentioned as being in Ga abt 1790. After that Jesse seems to disapear. Any info on the Skinners willbe greatlyappreciated..
