Hello "Sir" John! ....{:) We American FAIRFAX folks truly appreciate you'all's awesome efforts and support!!! I will be happy to see whut we'uns can do fer ya on the PELL Family! ....{:) Hopefully we can continue to provide supportive information towards the FAIRFAX SOCIETY of ENGLAND's "Gracious" efforts for all of the various FAMILY Surnames related to the FAIRFAX folks of England! ...{:) We have connected with another FAIRFAX cousin, who lives near Petersburg, Virginia where a significant US Civil War, 1860's, took place over several years and one of my direct FAIRFAX ancestor was reported as "Killed in Action" in 1864, while Honorably serving as a Private in the North Carolina Troop Infantry 51st Regiment, Company "G" .... Confederate States of America Private Thomas Fairfax, (identified in the 1850 Census of Columbus County, North Carolina). We are seeking any military reports or personal journal/diary information of the Petersburg, Virginia CSA Military actions/battles that may have listed his regiment/company/details of any nature during 1864????? Best regards, always! The archives are mounting to be a formidable record for future generations. Hope you enjoyed the new Web Page. I anticipate adding a picture of Gerry and your Mayor of Fairfax at the Book Launch in York last month. Gerry is trying to trace a story about the Pell family in which you may be able to help. The only clue is a title - "Pell, the Pig Murder". Does this ring a bell with you ? Unfortunately no dates to help trace the story. Look forward to your comments. Best wishes, John
