Found this and i am trying to strighten out some Charles that i have on a Chart. Do not know if i have the Charles mixed up :-) Thanks for any help. Had sons Willis , Owens & Charles who some say recieved their land etc. before the father died?? no charles mention below?? Also is that the Willis son of above Charles the Willis that died 1819 (drowned in the Neuse River)?? Deed Book 4 p24 #768 CHARLES HINES of Jones Co., NC deed of gift to his sons, OWEN HINES and WILLIS HINES of Wayne Co. 9/20/1787, for love and affection to OWEN HINES three negroes named Ned, Beck, and Lyd, and to WILLIS HINES two negroes named Toney, and Dinah; also, to his said sons, OWEN HINES, and WILLIS HINES, all of his household furniture and livestock. Wit: B. STEVENS, SOLOMON HERRING. Is the Charles bca 1743 d ca 1796 mention above the son of Charles and Nancy Carraway?? there is another Charles b ca 1746 d ca1794 that is believed to be the son of Robert, has a brother Reuben. or do i have my Charles mixed up??
