Hello Everyone, As most of you are aware, the Lenoir County Historical Association has for sale two books. 1. The Heritage Of Lenoir County 2. Coastal Plain and Fancy. They are WONDERFUL books, and contain so much information. The Historical Preservation Group has volunteered to put a web page or two together for the Association with information on both books. What we have in mind is putting the full index for the Heritage Book online, this will help researchers in deciding if they want to purchase the book. This in itself will be a LARGE task as it is almost a 40 page index. I am hoping that perhaps those of you who already have the book can help in getting the index typed. I will then get each letter of the index online as it becomes available. The money the Historical Association earns from the sale of these two books, will go to help with the painting and Maintenance of Harmony Hall.
