Hmm. That must be my Lydia. I have the three sons for her but no daughters. Sons, William - my line - , Isaac and James. Proven by a Bible but there is no daughter in the Bible. Which is not to say there wasn't one. Since Rachel was in the household it makes sense she was a daugher. Lydia was married to William Barwick. Lydia was the daughter of Levi and Sarah (Sally) Rouse. William Barwick was the son of John or Joshua Barwick - it is really not clear. In any event he was the grandson of William and Elizabeth Manning the first of the Barwick line in Lenoir Co. Allen, correct me if I am wrong on this information. The 1840 Census supports several females in Lydia's household but is inconsistent with the 1850 Census. THere was a female 10-15. On the 1830 Census, William was still alive but of course, if Rachel was a daughter and her age of 18 in 1850 was correct, she was not born at that time. William died before 1840.
