    3. I so wish I could help out. Between driving up to my mother's to help care for her four days a week and working and watching my grandson, I just have no time. For those that do not know, my mother is dying of liver failure, related to her diabetes. Mom is not expected to be around, may not even make Christmas. She is in much pain and mostly remains in a haze or sleeps. She can not be left alone. My father, a Kinston boy, had a minor heart attack a few weeks ago. He is working too hard (to keep up insurance for mom, she is only 64) too worried and caring for her. So they both need prayers right now. When the time comes for mom to leave us, and things have settled down, I can become more involved in helping. As I am sure it will help me to recover to get back to my life. Happy Holidays to all, take pleasure in your family. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tracy Putnam" <nccuzins@hotmail.com> To: <NCLENOIR-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, December 13, 2001 7:53 PM Subject: [NCLENOIR] Lenoir County Historical Books > Hello All, > > As most of you by now know, > The Lenoir County Historical Association has two wonderful books for sale. > 1.
