The Lenoir County Historical Association is having their annual Garden Party at Harmony Hall this Sunday, May 6 from 5-7. I just happened to be in Kinston and attended last year and it is a most enjoyable event. This is a fund raiser - Harmony Hall is in desperate need of repainting and think the funds are designated for this project. If you can't attend and wish to send a donation - tax write off - it can be sent to 1506 Sutton Drive, Kinston 28501 and the check should be made out to the Lenoir County Historical Association. Our own list member, Jane is very involved in this event and might wish to add more to this post. Also, Jane, can you find out if they have about sold out the Heritage Book reprint? They will not consider doing Vol 2 until the reprint is about gone. Martha
