Phyllis, Thanks for your answer. Martha: I have the following: Jesse Hare Croom--fath: Richard Croom;Moth:Nancy Ann or Anne Hare b. 4 Dec.,1791 in NC md. ? in ? to 2nd wife: Keriah Moore ***We can prove he married Susannah Hardee daughter of Thomas and Sarah Croom Hardee. We can prove he had 5 children by 1838 when his mother died and named his 5 children in her will. I found something on the Greene Co Ala website this morning that indicated Jesse H was deceased by 1838 - got a couple of emails out trying to find out what Will might have indicated that information since his mother's does not. However, I only have an abstract of Ann Hare Croom Davis's will. THe question is where those 5 children, children of Susannash and no one seems to know. Need the census records for Jesse which I don't have and are not online that I saw this morning. Do you by chance have them? d. 1 Apr.,1846 in Greenborr,Green Co., AL Richard Croom--fath:Major 1 Croom;Moth:Susannah Hardy/Hardee Enloe b. 1765 in Dobbs Co., NC md/ 26 June,1786 in ? to Nancy Ann or Anne Hare--fath:Jesse Hare;Moth: Elizabeth Haywood b. 1773 in Lenior Co., NC d. 29 Sept.,1843 in Lenior Co., NC She md. Can pretty much assure you that the Anthony Hardy bit is wrong. Most likely Col John came out of Middlesex Co, Va. The Hardee family is a nightmare. Many thanks. Greetings, I have been out of town since last Thurs. and worked all week prior to leaving. We went up to Spokane to watch my son play tennis and visit with him . I am home for awhile now. I picked up a CD-RW while in Spokane and am rearranging my computer area to fit all my new toys around my computer. I also picked up a digital camcorder on our last trip to CA. Now I have to learn how to use all these things. I made an I-Movie of Bonnie Dunbar and the Science Fair students last week. I still need to add music to it. I am working tomorrow and then hope to have the rest of the week off. I have a little over a hundred emails to sort through. I am glad to be back and will continue with the posting and updating of the sites.
