Being a bit determined to try and solve the problems with the Col John Hardee daughter Susannah and her husbands Abraham Enloe and maybe Major Croom, have put some feelers out on the Enloe family. Found a lady with a large Enloe database but not the ones in Pitt Co. On the other hand the names Abraham and John run down the line, they went from Md - some to western NC and some to SC and they are missing a John and Abraham of the right ages. Tied into the Enloes in Maryland are the Silverthorns and LEggets. I know there were Silverthorns in eastern NC - but not sure where. Also think there were LEggetts. Does anyone know anything about either early family - ie 1700 - 1750 and where they were in eastern NC? Thanks Martha
