He died between 1830 and 1840 at Lenoir County, North Carolina. A. Major Hardee married Elizabeth Mewborn at Lenoir County, North Carolina. Major was born at Dobbs County, North Carolina, between 1795 and 1800. He married Elizabeth Turner Bell at Johnston County, North Carolina, on 7 August 1846. Joseph Parrott Hardee married Eunice Eliza Mewborne at Lenoir County, North Carolina. His body was interred at Lenoir County, North Carolina, at Lydia Hardee Cemetery. Joseph was born at Lenoir County, North Carolina, on 19 May 1832. He married Mary Adelaide Turnage on 14 October 1858.
