    3. According to what Francis is saying, Elizabeth was the wife of James Ball not William Ball. Jane, do the descendants of William Ball say whether he had a son James? Or at least one they know about. You know it is possible that William had a son out of wedlock in our area or by a first wife his 2nd family does not know about.
