It is nice to add who his wife was-is there a marriage record? Now I know why his son William named a daughter Eleanor Hope White. I know where Robert's land was in Lenoir because it bordered my ancestor, James McIlwean's, land. Also have info on Benejah. He married the widow of Richard Caswell, jr. (my family) and there were lawsuits galore brought by benejah. How do you fit in? Clair
