I have recently retired and am just now getting into all of this. I am not sure what county they were from in North Carolina. They ended up around New Burn, I believe that was the area. I do not know how my Elizabeth got the middle name of Graves. Maybe it was her mother's maiden name? I will have to get that "story" and just send it to you. I have met a cousin on the internet who gave me loads of information about my Claytor family, all the way back to 1650. It is rather hard to trace that family because of the spelling. Most people spell it with an N rather than an R. I really appreciate any help that you or your cousin can give to me.
