Pink Hill is on the other side of the county from Loften's Crossroads. THere is a historical marker by the side of the road regarding the older James Davis but as I understand it, that does not mean he was buried there. It appears there were two James Davis of the same age - one along the Tuckahoe and the other slightly north of there, north of Deep Run along Horse Branch. These families have been confused by some researchers, mostly by the Horse Branch bunch which is my branch. Having two men of the same age and same name within a short distance and there not being a connection would be unusual. If James Davis had a Pension, I have not seen it would would be more than interested.
