    1. Re: [NCLENOIR] Taylor/ Stroud
    2. Hi Christine and Bullard Genealogists, Christine, This message is to you but I wanted the William/Nathan Bullard Family genealogists to see the message and responses.  I hope you don't mind.        It was followups to original correspondence with you that I was able to find my gg grandfather Nathan Bullard on the William Bullard Land Grant Farm in District 5 of Goshen Swamp area in 1785.  I found that Sampson Grimes was in that same District, and that this Sampson has also served as Bondsman and Witness to the marriage of Sarah Stroud to our Nathan Bullard.     I now see by your enclosed post that Sampson Grimes daughter married a Lott Stroud of Duplin County, NC in this same time period.  Could he be a brother of Sarah?  Could Lutson Stroud named in the 1783 Duplin County tax list be thie same person?  What relationship are they to William Bullard who was also on the Tax List as well as the 1786 Duplin County Census?  As you can see, we don't have much information on Sarah Stroud's family.     Also, William Bullard appears to have had three daughters who likely married in Duplin County.  The County had no information on Bullard marriages.  I am wondering if you or any others on the Duplin County Genealogy list might have information of BULLARDS in the area in the 1700s?      We will appreciate any information from you or anyone else.     Thank you very much, Spencer A. Taylor born March > 1832.  Hi , there were some Stroud's in Duplin Co, a Lott Stroud m Nancy Grimes, they had a son Isaac and a son Reuben (Reuben had a son Isaac) so the name Isaac runs in the family, i think Nancy & Lott left NC early bef. 1820's and went to Ky. do not know if this will help. Good luck Christine Grimes Thacker Christine Grimes Thacker
