Bill, Ruth might be able to help you more. In looking at the 1850 Lenoir and Greene Census, I did not see one Westbrook. It looks to me like the Moses and Persis Young Westbrook line all left the area by then. Have a hunch the later ones were part of the Jones Co family but I could be wrong. You might want to go to Heritage Place and check the Jones Census, the Jones abstracts and take a look at the Jones Co archives for the Standley/Westbrook Bible and the new Westbrook Will that Sloan recently posted.
