Does the below ring a bell with anyone? Richard Hall son of Joseph and Hannah Hall - born APril 1774. I am not sure this is a Craven/Jones family but the records are in a Bible that include information on Rigdon Heath and family. Hall could be an allied family not from this area. William Askew, son of Thomas Askew and Mageretha his wife - b 1776. Same situation as above - the Bible also contains records for the children of Fredic Metts and Ann his wife who are from this area. I suspect this is a local family since William Askew married Louisa Jackson daughter of Joseph Jackson. Roger sent me a LONG list of Bibles from Eastern NC to pull from the GRC Reports at the DAR. I have to consult with him before posting because not sure of what he wants to do with them. But I will run the ones I am pulling to the appropriate lists except for Pitt County. Martha
