After looking more closely at my records, I believe there is two Walter D. Lofin's who lived in Kinston, NC in 1880-1900. (1) Walter D. Loftin , born 1856, who married Annie Brock and had 5 children and (2) Walter Dunn Loftin, born 1877, who married Ida Marines Metts. Both families moved to Jacksonville, Florida. But I still do not know when and where Walter D. Loftin (who married Annie Brock) are buried in Lenior County, NC. Annie is a widow when she appears in Jacksonville, Florida in 1905. His father was William Waightstill (Waitstill) Avery Loftin of Wolfscape, Duplin County, North Carolina. Annie and Walter were married in Kinston and all of their children were born in Kinston, Lenior County, NC.
