    1. [NCLENOIR] Old Pipkin home
    2. Martha Marble
    3. >From Guy. The Pipkin family moved on down to Lenoir, Wayne and Duplin Counties. Lovely old home. First Pipkin we have been able to trace to is John Pipkin, died, 1745, Chowan County, area is now in Gates County. His son Joseph is my link down. Brother Isaac stayed there, lot's on him in the court records. There was a home built for Isaac when he married around 1860, this might have been the first Isaac's son's. It stands in Gates County today, been renovated and is for sale. Went there throughout the renovation process and took some pictures. Posted them to a webpage that I'm sending along. Asking price is around $235,000 including 10 acres of protected land. Know of anyone who would be interested in investing in this one ? It could be a bed and breakfast or a time-share for the Pipkin descendants. http://www.angelfire.com/hi3/pipkinhouse/ Guy
