Martha, Please accept my condolences for Ms. Ima's passing. I had the honor of meeting with her and Ailene a few years ago when I was home. Ms. Ima contributed so much to genealogies of eastern North Carolina especially Lenoir/Greene/Pitt Counties. She was a most thorough researcher that I have had the pleasure of meeting. She nursed and cared for many in the surrounding area of Famville, North Carolina. She enriched many lives she came in contact with and her legacy of research will be treasured for generations to come. GOD BLESSED our lives when HE gave us Ms. Ima Mewborn.
