I have >never seen much info on her. This tells me her father was Joseph Bruton, >sisters were Pearcy, Penelope, Polly, Betsy, Catherine, and Sally, and she >died in 1811 or later (my c. 1810 should really have read between 1806 and >1817, based on the last birth date for a child of hers and the first birth >date for a child of Sarah Jackson West). Am I interpreting the >relationships in this will correctly? That would be my interpretation. >Is there some way to get the full text of the will? Can you tell me what >"Turnage Papers at ECC" means? THe Joyner Library at East Carolina University has a Manuscript Division on the 4th floor which has marvelous originals and copies for historical and genealogical research. I have not seen the Turnage Collection but Roger Kammerer gave me these notes he had made. Don't know if the Will is actually in it or just notes. Either you would have to go to the library or find someone to look it up for you. Martha
