    1. [NCLENOIR] WEST and related families - BRUTON

    3. Martha, Thank you for forwarding this information on Wealthy Bruton. I have never seen much info on her. This tells me her father was Joseph Bruton, sisters were Pearcy, Penelope, Polly, Betsy, Catherine, and Sally, and she died in 1811 or later (my c. 1810 should really have read between 1806 and 1817, based on the last birth date for a child of hers and the first birth date for a child of Sarah Jackson West). Am I interpreting the relationships in this will correctly? Is there some way to get the full text of the will? Can you tell me what "Turnage Papers at ECC" means? Thanks again, Bob W. ----- Forwarded by Robert C West/AMS/AMSINC on 03/19/2002 09:40 AM ----- Martha Marble <mmarble@erol To: NCLENOIR-L@rootsweb.com s.com> cc: Subject: [NCLENOIR] West and related families 03/19/2002 08:23 AM > >John WEST (?-1800) = ? >Levi WEST (c. 1761-c. 1830) = Wealthy BRUTON (1) (? - c. 1810) > [second wife: Sarah JACKSON; third wife: Susannah WHITE] You might need to double check this based on the below BRUTON - FROM ROGER KAMMERER Turnage Papers at ECC Will of Joseph Bruton of Lenoir County - l8ll Benj Tyson of Pitt was Exec, Simon Bruton other exec but he refused to qualify $l00 to daughter Pearcy Bruton $l00 to ________ Penelope Lyons ? $300 to heirs of daughter Polly Peters To children of Welthey West to children of Betsy West, Penelope Lyons, Catherine Tucker, Sally Tyson heirs of Polly Peters were Mary md Isaac Thompson Elizabeth md George Monroe Joseph and Bruton Peters _____ Peters - name and residence unknown
