    1. Windsor Dixon Collection
    2. Martha Marble
    3. Judy and Ann went to Duke and copied the entire Windsor Dixon Collection for us. It arrived today and have just skimmed it and it will be awhile before it is posted. There are quite a few documents from the Hookerton Christian Church that probably will not be done except for the genealogical information. The Collection probably should be called the Holliday Collection as it looks like every deed the Holliday family ever had is in the Collection - very little Dixon information. I assume that Windsor inherited these documents from his mother which is a bit unusual. There are a few letters from the Holliday family in Mississippi. The vast majority of the deeds are Dobbs, Glasgow and early Greene Co - quite a treasure. There are a couple of other families with documents that give the name of a father and a list of all the children - the Olds family is one of them. Some of the copies did not copy well and are probably too light to get a good abstract so at some point the original will have to be double checked. In places it is going to be difficult to decipher the names so as go through the Collection will run posts for clarification. Also, because of the rules of most institution libraries, these copies can not be given to the Greene Co Museum or LCC. When I finish will see about direct descendants getting copies for their direct ancestor. Don't ask me about them yet - will get to that at the appropriate time. We are most grateful to Judy and Ann for their time and money - there are a LOT of copies. Thank you ladies. Martha
