    3. Sadly, the rootsweb lists for the most part are not as active as they once were. I know many of us learned so much, made connections, and found cousins and friends because of rootsweb. The rootsweb archive are a great resource for past posts. http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/th/index?list=nclenoir Most all genealogy/family history discussions now seem to be on facebook in different groups for areas, families, etc. Here is the main one for for Lenoir is the Heritage Genealogical Society of Lenoir, Greene, & Jones Counties of NC https://www.facebook.com/groups/329756293741955/ All The Best, David
