    3. Good Morning List, In a momentary lack of Sanity (Ha ha) I have offered to host the ALHN page for Jones Co NC. It is my vision to have a section for Genealogy Local History Goverment I would appreciate any and all input, comments, suggestions, etc. Also if anyone has anything they would like to contribute please let me know. I live so far away (In Boston) that I am sure there are many resources that I am completly unaware of. However my heart belongs to North Carolina, I am the first in my direct line to be born and raised outside of NC since 1725. I will let everyone know when the site is up and running. Please email me directly with any of your thoughts etc. hanks in advance.... 2. Martha Marble
    3. Betsy has posted a Collection of Craven County Bryan deeds, wills and estate records to the Craven County Archives site for those of you interested in this family. Before you ask, we have not tried to put all of this family together - just gathering information. http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/nc/cravennc.htm THere is also a Phillips Collection of Deeds, soon to be followed by a Phillips misc file. Although these are in the Craven Records, they actually lived in that area of Craven that was put in Lenoir Co around 1800. I am grateful it was not done before that time. I have tried to put this family together, without much success as there are just too many holes in Dobbs County. SOme of this family lives in Jones Co today. Thank you Betsy. Martha

    3. Sharon said I could forward this one. She was looking for items of interest to Dobbs, Lenoir and Greene. She is going to check out the New Bern District in 1779 to see if it is the same as the Craven Co Tax or if it includes other counties. 1. [Tull List] TULL BOOK AVAILABLE
    2. Martha Marble
    3. And my thanks to Guy Potts for helping me figure out to make additional corrections on the original msw document. The HTML has a few problems, but the downloads are great with some exceptions of double spaces when Roy enlarged the Font so our old eyes could read it. For those of you on the Jones list - there are Metts and maybe other Jones Co names. For PCFR - there are Tuckers - Bill - this is your line There is an index not by page but by number. I am personally excited about this book being saved. My personal copy is a copy of who knows how many copies and almost not readable in places. According to Tull's two daughters, there was only one original and they don't have it. This book has very few errors in it but if anyone should find any or can add to it, please let me know. At some point we will probably try and do an addendum with corrections and additional information. We are most indebted to Edward Tull for the marvelous work he did so many years ago and without a computer or genealogy softwear. Martha >Dear Fellow TULL Researchers: > >Amonth or so ago, Martha Marble & Dee March started to think about how >wonderful it would be to make Mr.Edward R. 3. Hi my name is Cyndi Simpkins and I'am looking for my family of Hall's in NC I have found a name on the IGI here in Jones County. My line starts with a Drew Hall 1820's to 30's who married a Margaret (Peggy ) Bishop in NC . Im a little iffy on dates as this info came down thru family members. Drew and Peggy had two known sons Lewis Thomas Hall who married Margaret A Baker William Hall who married Mary Susan Sanderson Lewis T Hall and Margaret had Eliza H Hall who married her first cousin Richard Ivey Hall son of William Hall and Susan Sanderson. Richard Ivey and Eliza were both born 1871 and 1872 NC Richard and Eliza were buried in Duplin County but I was told they were from Jones County. Any info on these people would be appreciated. Thanks so much Cyndi Simpkins

I don't have anyone close to that birthdate in my database. That means either I just don't know about her (quite possible) or that she was perhaps not a Bryan, but married a Bryan as her first husband (less likely in view of her age). Since you have specific dates, you must have a Bible record or something like that--could you give us more information? Maybe we can sort this out. Sue
