    3. Hi List, Hope some of you can help me. I have John HEATH born 1800, son of Henry HEATH Jr. Have the names of John's children and wife Lavina Turner, from Jones, Duplin Co. area. These are my fourth great grandparents. Then I'm told John had a son name Rev Henry HEATH. Is there anyone that can verify this is true? I have no record that he had a son named Henry. Yet, this information came from a good source. I can't seem to get the source to answer my calls or to even acknowledge that I've I tried. Thanks for any help you can give. Sylvia HEATH Jones

    1. Re: NCJONES-D Digest V00 #18
    2. I just purchased the Jones County book and as soon as it arrives I will take it to Kinko's and have them put a plastic ring binder on it. I think it is called "surlock" or "trulock". I've done this on previous paper bound books and it not only keeps the individual pages from falling out, but it allows you to lay the book down flat to whatever page you desire. This procedure was originally recommended to me by the Helpdesk people at PAF headquarters and they supposedly do it on all their manuals. This must be done when the book is new so that the spine and pages can be cut accurately. Fran Steadman

    3. I purchased Abstracts of the records of Jones County North Carolina 1779- 1868 by Zae Hargett Gwynn from Amazon.com. It is a paperback and costs $65. It is so large that it will not stand rough handling but I think it was worth my money. Pat

    3. YES! I think so. I searched for years. Finally got a reprint a year or so ago from Jeanette Austin.
