Enlisted in CSA in 1861, along with about 15 other Barbers, all on the same date. Married Mary Johnson 1867 at the home of Isaac Johnson, whom I assume was her father. I would like information on Mary Johnson, as well. I checked census records for 1830 and I believe Ruffin Barber's father was probably named Abraham Barber, because my great-grandfather was named Charles Abraham Barber, but this could be a stretch.
