Franklin provided me some time ago with some information about Edward Ingram that married an Elizabeth, probably Elizabeth Jernigan (her mother was named Elizabeth Jernigan, but we do not know if this was the daughter's maiden name or was a second marriage). Does anyone else have any information about this family? (Edward and Elizabeth)? I am particularly interested in the location of the land the daughter inherited from the mother; all I know is that it was on the south side of the Neuse River adjacent to Neuse Marshes. This land was sold 12/16/1768 to Jethro Butler by Edward and Elizabeth Ingram and was recorded in court in 1762; the deed was witnessed by Joseph Langston and Isaac Williams. I would also like to know when Elizabeth Jernigan (the mother) acquired this land. Thanks. Carla Tate
