Gardner born February 13, 1870, married to Willie B. Stanley born March 18, 1877. Willie's parents lived in Henry County, GA but her grandparents were all from Johnston County, NC. John and Willie lived in either Henry or Fayette County, and had two known children, Charlie Ralph Gardner and Katie Mae Gardner born in the late 1800s.
