I, myself, am a Boyette whose descendants came from Wilson county, NC. You mention a book written by Ray Keith Hodge. Do you know who he is, or what his relationship is to BOYETTE's? You quote him as saying that "[James]...moved to Wilson County in 1836." I'm curious as to the amount of research he did. Does it mention anything about that? Wilson County wasn't even formed until 1855. However, I am somewhat interested in that book, especially since George might be a close relative.
