Woodall was b. 5 July 1807, died 20 July 1856. He married Pennsavilla Johnston 21 Jan. 1835 in Johnston County, NC. She died ca May 1869 and was the d/o James Johnston Sr. and wife Mary (Polly) Jones Johnston. Issue: 1. Alexander Woodall married Julia Barber 2. Mary Elizabeth Woodall married Iredell Godwin 3. Helen Woodall died young 4. James Alvin Woodall b. 5 Feb. 1830, died 27 Feb. 1927 married Haywood Elizabeth Whitley.
