JONES/CREECH Sounds like this James Henry Jones must be related. My husband's grandfather was James Henry Jones born August 13, 1861 died March 5, 1932 in Faison Duplin Co NC. His wife was 10 years younger than he and she had twelve children. My father-in-law James Henry Jones Jr. was number 10 of the twelve. My research past James Henry Jones b 1861 is sketchy. I found it hard to believe my husband's elderly aunts weren't sure of their grandfather's name and this was 20 years ago. I have his father as Jethro Jones married to Mary Wiggins (she born abt 1826). Sounds like either James Henry Jones born 17 Feb 1827 could be great grandfather but very well could be 2great uncle. Would appreciate any help on the Jones family. As you most likely know, it is intimidating when you think of researching a common name like Jones.
