Due to the clues that I've picked up online in the last two weeks, I have found that my great grandfather Noah Pace's father is Alsey Pace. And that Stephen and John Pace are his grandfathers. I am seeking any info about the family as I can get. My relatives told me that Noah was a redish colored man, so to find out that he is 1/2 Indian is not a surprise. Another relative told me that Madison was probably his brother and a relative who has done family research states that his wife Mary Jane Haggens came from Virginaia and married a slavemaster's son, so was Alsey a slaveholder? I am also interested in learning Cassandra Dean's parents names and those, too, of Harriet Hicks. There is a mystery involving Harriet Hicks which I would be glad to discuss by private e-mail.
