This man is AURELIUS P. BARBOUR, my husband's great uncle. He was born 1841 in Johnston County, married Francis (?) born 1836. They married about 1865. He enlisted in Co. C, 53rd Regiment at Camp Magnum April 8, 1862. He and his brother HAWKINS BARBOUR, my husband's grandfather, served together and were with Lee when he surrendered at Appamattox. We would love to determine her last name (Price?) and share his will! We had run into a blank wall at the JC archives when we tried to find his heirs.
