NC Wills Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/NC/JohnstonWill/86 Surname: WADDELL, PEARCE, HALES, BARNES, POPE, HEARN ------------------------- State of North Carolina Johnston County In the name of god I Edward Waddell am in proper health hanks be to god and calling to mind the mortality of my Body knowing that it is appointedfor all men once to Die do Make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament that is to say first of all I give my soule into the hands of god that gave it and my Body to be burried in a Desent manner at the Decision of my Executors and as touching my Worldly Estate wherein god hath Blest me with in this Life I give and Disire and Dispose of in manner and form as follows I Lind to my Beloved Wife Polley Waddell her Lifetime and Widowhood the plantation where I now Live and the Pate Plantation and Land Belonging to it all the house hold goods and working Tools and three head of Horses and sadle and Two cows and calves and fifteen head of hogs and all the sheep I gave to my son William Waddell Ten shillings I gave to my son Richard Waddell one hundred and sixty Dollars if having any child after our Death I gave to my son Evret Waddell Two hundred and Ten acres of Land more or less bieng on the North sid of the Molton Branch I gave to my son Joel Waddell Two hundred acres of Land lying in the fork of the Juniper Swamp and Jacobs Branch including the Parrish place one hefer one feather Bed one sow and pigs I gave to my Daughter Rhoda Pearce one Pot one hefer I gave to my Daughter Zilpha hales one Pot one hefer one Wooling Wheal I gave to my son John Waddell Two hundred acres of Land more or less includin the pate place one hefer and Pot one coalt by the name of Crisce(?)
