"The 1880 United States Federal Census is currently being indexed. We expect that this product will be available on CD-ROM during the 2001 calendar year. It will be sold as a complete set, not in regional sections. At this time, we do not have a final count on the number of disks in the set, nor do we know the final price." I have no further information about this index, but thought people might be interested to know that indexing is being done. When it becomes available I will let the various lists know what is included as well as a price.
